Wedding Invites: An Easy Decision

Hello world! As most of you know, my name is Whitney and I'm actually one of Betsy's brides (June 11--95 days to go to be exact...but really who's counting?!?!). While I usually don't write blogs about my own wedding planning, this blog is dedicated to (thanks to Betsy) the easiest wedding decision I had to make... picking out my invitations.

When I first met with Betsy during my flower meeting, she mentioned she also did invitations--can you say one-stop shopping? After I found my dream invites (which just happen to be pictured above), Betsy and I talked details--what I wanted it to say, the fonts, addresses, etc. literally... so easy! I opted for an additional invite service that includes the company printing the inside and outside envelopes for you. That's right, my invites came PRINTED with the names and addresses on the outside envelopes, return addresses, you name it the works! About a week and a half later... my invites came (and yes, I drove as fast I possible could to the shop to get them).

Aren't they gorgeous?!? I'm seriously in love with how beautiful they turned out!

Purple Love Stamps

Just went to the post office and bought the most amazing stamps that would look fabulous with Erin & Eduardo's invitations. We helped create the fabulous green & purple invitations for Erin. I just hope she hasn't bought any stamps yet, these look like they were created just for her. Below is the invitation, along with the stamps.

Pink Alligator Pad

This is just about the cutest "GATOR" item I have found in a while. It is a stack of 150 sheets of notepaper. The pages can be personalized, and are stored in a clear acrylic holder. There is a special graduate who will be receiving one this weekend.

Amber & Andrew

Amber & Andrew just stopped in to pick up their wedding invitations. They are getting married at Rustic Manor in Newberry. I think this invitation is a perfect match for them and the ceremony and reception they are planning.

Fall Wedding Invitation

Justine & Mike got married this past weekend. We had the opportunity to create their wedding invitation as well as provide their flowers. Since it is October, even thought you can't tell by the weather, they had decided on a fall theme. I say if you are going to do a fall themed wedding, then go all out. Their invitations helped show guests that they were celebrating their wedding day, on a casual fall day. Here is a sample of what we created for them.

Gerbera Daisy Handout

In addition to providing flowers for weddings we also do invitations. When we saw this Pink Gerbera Daisy invitation, I thought it would be a great handout at this fall's wedding shows. Plus it is a color I love, so I themed the booth around it and green.

Imprintable Invitations

We sell imprintable invitations. Mainly for bridal or baby showers. In looking over our stock recently, I noticed we needed some new ones. Luckily a sales rep called, and wanted to set up an appointment with me & she handles companies that we weren't already buying from. So, I ordered a bunch of new fun stuff.
We have just received some new Baby Shower invitations from Paper Construction. They are super cute. We got them in pink& blue. Also in purple(not shown), in case the mom's favorite color is purple or if we don't know if the baby will be a boy or a girl. In real life they are about 4"X9.25". More to come as they arrive at the shop.
