Final Expo Pics

Okay, I am sure you are tired of pictures of Abbey, but there are so many great ones. These are from Footstone Photography, and I just had to share them. I love this action shot of Abbey Twirling.
Here are all the stunning models, before stepping onto the stage.
Here is one of our bouquets that the models carried while on the runway. This one is made of pink roses, with a mixed pink boa.

Solutions Bridal Expo

For the show we decided to continue the dress theme. Pink & green were the colors of the day.
Here is a close up of the dress.

Many people asked what the point of the dress is. Just something fun.

Abbey at The Bridal Expo

Once again Abbey was asked to model. How cute is she? Graceful Strands did her hair. Playing, I mean helping me take the booth apart at the end of the day.

Bridal Expo

Here are some shots of our booth this weekend at the Bridal Expo. Many thanks to Celebrations Catering for the lovely pink linens used on our tables. Everyone loved our cheery showing of pinks & greens.
A close up of the flowers at the top of our double vases. We used roses, orchids, trachelium, equisitium, buplerium, mini green hydrangea & aspidistra leaves.
Leah from Celebrations Catering caught me making a few adjustments to the flowers.
Theresa made this bouquet which was later used during the fashion show. A nice combination of roses, buplerium & salal leaves.
Here is a close up of mini green hydrangea, with pink roses, a crowd favorite. Laying on the table close by is the gerbera daisy handout we made.
Thank you all for such a great show.

Before the Bridal Expo.

We are busy getting ready for the Bridal Expo on Sunday. Here is what the flowers look like when we receive them. I have all kinds of pink & green floral goodies to use for our booth. I can't wait to start putting everything together. I know they don't look like much now, but just wait and see what we create.
Later today I am going over to Celebrations Catering to pick out some linens. Celebrations is graciously allowing me to use some for the show. I am so excited to see what they have to offer.

Solutions, Fashion Show

Abbey was asked to take part in the fashion show, which she was happy to do. Here she is, not looking anything like herself. The ladies at Graceful Strands gave Abbey an updo, and a little makeup was applied. She prance around the rest of the day, with her hair up, wearing sparkly shoes Aunt Susie had sent from Japan.

A big thanks goes out to Lauren. She was chosen to walk with Abbey on the catwalk. Here they are hanging out before the show started. So cute, blowing kisses at the camera.

Some of the Solutions models used our bouquets during the fashion show. Abbey is posing, with the one she carried. It is made of Roses and Hypericum, with some liriope loops.

Tali, thanks for letting Abbey take part in the Fashion show. She wouldn't take her hair down, until she show everyone at school, the next day. Too funny, since we can hardly get her to leave her hair in a ponytail for gymnastics class.

Solutions, Arrangements

Trying to doing something fun, I took Bells of Ireland, and gathered them at the top, to look like a cage. Inside the cage I placed purple Carnations and Orange roses.
This was the show stopper. An exotic, contemporary arrangement, using Bells of Ireland, Dendrobium Orchids, Roses, Hypericum, Curly Willow & Monstera leaves. The arrangement sat on top of a glass cylinder, which had two light disks shinning on the flowers in the cylinder. This would be great to use on a buffet table, somewhere you need a focal point. If you took off the top arrangement & light disk, it would make a great centerpiece.

Solutions Bridal Expo

Here is an over view of our booth. Over the next few days I will focus on the bouquets & arrangements we made. For me the fun part of a wedding show, is that I get to be creative. I love working with my brides and helping them creating their visions. Sometimes it is good to have creative freedom, by having creative freedom, I can gives brides ideas that they have not seen before. Lime green, purple & orange were the colors I picked.

I would like to thank Solutions Bridal & A'vie for putting on a fabulous show, and all the brides that stopped by the booth. It was great getting to talk to everyone.
