Our ceremony was at The Wedding Oak at Kanapaha Botanical Garden. To create an focal point we had two columns, with a floral arch. My cousin Nicholas climbed in the tree and hung white icicle lights.
We took a few (read as.....4 hours of pictures before the ceremony), so that when the ceremony was over we walked out of the gardens at the same time as our guests. As the guests headed to the reception, the bridal party headed to The Swamp, where we had some special guests waiting for us.
We spent about 45 minutes taking picture with Albert & Alberta, and then they headed to the reception with us. When they were supposed to announce Mr. & Mrs. Gardner, instead the DJ announced Mr. & Mrs. Gator, and Albert & Alberta walked out. It was a surprise for our guests. What a wonderful day. A big thank you goes out to our family & friends for sharing the special day with us.A big thanks also goes out the the Powers and their team (read as.....many photographers) who helped capture our day. There is nothing like having a real pro behind the lens.
