Betsy & Terry, 7 years later

Okay, so this is kind of dorky, but it is my 7th Anniversary today. I thought I'd share a few pictures with you from that day. It is hard to believe it has been 7 years, Terry says it seems more like 37 years. To me is seems just like yesterday. It was cold and rainy, which made for fabulous pictures. Here is the bridal party. If you ask Abbey where she was, when mommy & daddy got married, she said she was Emily & Paul's house. However, Emily & Paul are the last two on the right hand side of this picture. Isn't it great the way kids think.
Our ceremony was at The Wedding Oak at Kanapaha Botanical Garden. To create an focal point we had two columns, with a floral arch. My cousin Nicholas climbed in the tree and hung white icicle lights.
We took a few (read as.....4 hours of pictures before the ceremony), so that when the ceremony was over we walked out of the gardens at the same time as our guests. As the guests headed to the reception, the bridal party headed to The Swamp, where we had some special guests waiting for us.
We spent about 45 minutes taking picture with Albert & Alberta, and then they headed to the reception with us. When they were supposed to announce Mr. & Mrs. Gardner, instead the DJ announced Mr. & Mrs. Gator, and Albert & Alberta walked out. It was a surprise for our guests. What a wonderful day. A big thank you goes out to our family & friends for sharing the special day with us.
A big thanks also goes out the the Powers and their team (read as.....many photographers) who helped capture our day. There is nothing like having a real pro behind the lens.

Ceremony: Kanapaha Botanical Garden
Reception: Gainesville Woman's Club
Photographer: Powers Photography
Florist: Us
Caterer: Lee Wright (a friend, who is a Chef)
Cake: Albertson's (Terry's favorite, but it has to have whipped icing)
Planner: Me, Myself & I (wish I had know some planners back then)
