Tulips, Tulips, Everywhere!!

Tulips are my absolute favorite flower! They are unique and definitely a staple that spring is coming. Tulips make great arrangements and when I think of tulips, I think Mother's Day. Did you know that three billion tulips are grown each year in the Netherlands? Below are some pictures from one of the tulip farms in Amsterdam. Two thirds of the tulips grown at this farm are exported to the US and Germany. Tulips are planted in late October or early November and are ready to be harvested in the spring.
